THE sound of sawing, drilling and hammering is set to continue after a popular woodwork class was found new premises by the council.

Keir Starmer opens woodwork workshop for Highgate Newtown Community Centre.

​Holborn and St Pancras MP Sir Keir Starmer helped officially open Highgate Newtown Community Centre’s (HNCC’s) woodwork workshop last Friday.

Highgate Newtown Community Centre gets funding from council and church for expanded woodwork education programme

 

Brookfield Primary’s pupils are among those delighted to be able to use a new woodwork facility set to open in a garage on the Whittington Estate after Camden allocated £110,000 to the project.
