Wood That Works
We are a community enterprise providing a creative space for people of all backgrounds and ages to learn a range of traditional carpentry skills.
Hidden within the Whittington Estate overlooking Highgate cemetery, our workshop is a peaceful, safe environment where we welcome all to come and enjoy the benefits of working with wood.
Wood That Works
Wood That Works is well known within the community as a warm and welcoming safe space for for people to make, connect and have fun.
We run a number of initiatives including childrens afterschool woodwork classes, women's empowerment workshops, men only Workshop, youth reparation and disability group sessions as well as woodwork summer schemes. We also work on bespoke build projects, large and small, outside the workshop space.
